We are committed to taking a holistic approach when analyzing the issues of your case and your needs because the legal considerations should not be evaluated without an appreciation of how those considerations will ultimately affect you, and your family, now and in the future.

Who We Are

Harvey & Mahoney, P.A. began in 1981, when J. Campbell Harvey and Marilyn T. Mahoney formed their partnership to provide affordable legal services. Gail E. Bakis joined the firm in 2012. We were the first all-women law firm in New Hampshire. Almost immediately, we focused our practice on cases relating to family and domestic issues. We have maintained that focus, and have committed ourselves to providing the highest quality advice and representation to clients based on their individual needs and goals.

We provide legal services for issues arising in divorce, civil unions, parenting plans for unmarried couples, child support, alimony, grandparents’ rights and property division, as well as guardianships for adults and minors. Our clientele comes from all over New Hampshire and from all walks of life, all economic backgrounds, and all ages. We practice state-wide, appearing in the Circuit Courts in all counties, as well as before the New Hampshire Supreme Court.

On December 31, 2018, after almost four decades of service, Harvey & Mahoney, PA closed its doors. Gail is continuing the legacy as the sole owner of Harvey, Mahoney & Bakis, PLLC.
